HUMIDITY / SAG RESISTANCE

Suspended ceilings are exposed to air which always has some degree of moisture content. In particularly humid environments, like shower areas, swimming pools, salons & kitchens, you’ll need ceiling tiles that can withstand a tough combination of moisture, heat and microbiological activity. Because humidity can weaken the structure of certain ceiling materials and cause them to sag. In extreme cases, they may even fall out of the grid.

Humidity is measured as relative humidity (RH) and also always depends on the room temperature. ZEDA mineral fiber ceiling tiles has been specially treated by moisture-resistant processes, and RH can be up to 90%, 99% at 40°C depending on patterns and thickness.
